A medium sized manufacturing unit catering to fast fashion needs locally as well as internationally, Hajra Textiles foray into retail was actually by accident. Experimenting with a new variety, we ended up making a fabric that varied from our usual portfolio. Marketing three colors by word of mouth, the entire line sold out in less than two weeks which gave us confidence to venture into the local retail market with a men's and then women's line. As Hajra strengthened, Native was born, catering to slow fashion enthusiasts and meeting the needs of the times: sustainability, environmental protection and craft preservation. From block prints to hand made embroideries, we quickly grew, delving into various facets.
